6 Months ago I bought my Khador battlebox and received my first demo from David at Game Preserve South. I’ve learned a lot about the game bought a lot of models and painted all of them (Except Victor who I have bigger plans for).
I’ve begun to be able to recognize why I have lost games, and starting to develop ideas on how I can avoid losing and try to win myself. So as soon as I can put those into practice I may even be able to expect to start winning games. Also would be very helpful to learn more about the armies i’m facing. A long road ahead of me for sure, but i’m having fun.
Started off playing in a Journeyman league which was great, really liked the gradual growth and the chance to buy, and paint everything as I went along. After the week we were allowed to change casters I began playing Karchev. Played Karchev until the end of the year, his strategies were a bit more straight forward, and all his boxes made him a bit more forgiving for a new player. The errata came out and affected my list quite a bit, but it was the exact time I was looking to switch casters anyway. I’ve been playing with Old Witch, and recently a some games with Kozlov again. Definitely stretching my self out a bit more than with Karchev. A lot more tricky things to work out with Old Witch.
We began a map based campaign at the store last week, and it will continue on for 5 more weeks so that is my latest adventure.
I am very proud of the fact that I can say every game of Warmachine I have ever played has been fully painted. Holding myself to the standard of #PlayitPainted
Going to be taking a break from buying and painting Khador, but will still be playing them exclusively. Wanted to get some pictures up of all the models so I can log in and drool over them while i’m at work.
